Great charity. My friend and I are busy knitting squares to put together for blankets. We try to do some every year and this year we are doing them for Save the Children.

A Save the Children campaign to get 15,000 knitted blankets to African children in need of a winter warmer. 287 blankets have already been sent in!

If you want to start knitting this is a great initiative and will hone in on your skills by creating perfect squares to meet the requirements.

Some ladies and I have a ‘Stitch & Bitch’ club and this is our first project!
